Dear Mr. Stockton:
I forgot to mention it this weekend, but I have requested six students under the PACE program for the Bethabara Project for the summer. Under this program 90% of their salary comes from the Federal Government, and 10% comes from our Bethabara Project budget. This seemed such a fine opportunity to obtain helpers as cheaply as possible, that I thought we could try six for the summer. They will be paid by our Department of Archives and History, who will handle the necessary bookkeeping, etc., and our Bethabara Project will re-imburse our Department the 10%. With these people plus the laborers we can hire as usual, we should be able to present a fine showing at the July 2nd opening.
Sincerely,
Stanley South
